Media Coverage 2008

WALKTALK attracted a huge amount of attention both in the UK and overseas.

It was launched on BBC 1’s Sunday Life TV show, and later featured on several subsequent programmes. Other national TV coverage included Channel 4 News, ITV’s Calendar, BBC News among others. National radio coverage included BBC Five Live, BBC and Radio 2’s Aled Jones show.

Regional TV coverage included ITV’s Look North and Calendar, London Today and Tonight, Central News, BBC London News, with regional radio highlights including BBC Radio Three Counties, Leicester, London, Nottingham, Sheffield, Leeds, Stoke, Nottingham, Solent, Lincs, Leicester, York, Southampton and IRN, LBC, British Satellite News, Radio Aire, Sky Radio, Liverpool City FM, Bradford Community Broadcasting, Sunrise, and East Leeds FM among others.
