Guidelines for Walkers
Please note that Registration has now closed.
HOW CAN I TAKE PART?
WALKTALK is entirely inclusive: it’s open to anyone to come and join the WALKTALK conversation and discuss their views.
However, we ask that all those who join us at any WALKTALK event should observe to the following fundamental principles:
1.Respect – try and place yourself in the other person’s shoes – to see the world from their perspective
2.Balance – try to listen as much you talk and you will get more out of the experience
3.Humanity – you might find you have more in common with the person you talk and walk with than difference
4.Responsibility – we can all make a positive difference to our community. It’s our choice on how and what we do.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Participation in a WALKTALK event is entirely voluntary and at your own risk. WALKTALK will take place on the public highway or public rights of way and we cannot accept any responsibility for your safety, security or the security of your property. Anyone is free to participate but you are asked to be considerate of others and to take care only to do that which you feel safe doing and are able to do without difficulty, discomfort or threat to your health.
